Everything needed to put the how-to videos on YouTube by hand, checked and in one place (NEC-167).

  • The notes are paste-ready. Each brand/videos/NN-<id>.md holds its title, description, tags and Short copy as verbatim blocks, as brand/social/profiles.md does. Titles lead with the task and keep "Obsidian" within the ~60 characters search shows. Each description opens with its guide's link, as docs/video-scripts.md requires. Video 3's description keeps its plain statement of what the server can see.
  • brand/videos/youtube.md is the walkthrough for a first upload, in order and with Studio's own labels:
    • verify the channel, which custom thumbnails need;
    • the upload defaults;
    • the one playlist, "How to use Nectenda in Obsidian";
    • every field of the form, including "not made for kids" and AI use: No (YouTube exempts cloning one's own voice, which the guide quotes with its link);
    • subtitles "With timing";
    • no end screens, which would cover the end card, and no chapters, since the steps are too short for them;
    • Shorts linked to their full videos;
    • checking everything while Private, then publishing together.
  • Thumbnails: the start-card frames the guides already use as posters, 1280×720. They are byte-identical to the site's copies, so git stores them once.
  • scripts/brand-videos.test.mjs runs in pnpm lint. It checks YouTube's limits, the phrases positioning.md forbids, that < and > are absent (YouTube refuses them), that each first line links a guide that exists, and that every file a note names is present. It is mutation-checked four ways: a long title, no guide link, a forbidden phrase, and a missing file each fail it.

pnpm lint and pnpm test pass locally.

Each video's note now holds its title, description, tags and Short copy
as blocks to paste verbatim, with the thumbnail, subtitle file, playlist
position and related video beside them. youtube.md walks a first upload
field by field: verifying the channel, the upload defaults, the one
playlist, each of the ten uploads, checking them while Private, and
publishing together. The narration's voice is the founder's own, cloned,
which YouTube's rules exempt from the AI-use disclosure; the guide quotes
the rule. The thumbnails are the guides' poster frames.

brand-videos.test.mjs checks the notes against YouTube's limits and
positioning.md, that each description opens with a link to a guide that
exists, and that every file named is there to upload.
